Final result company film

The final result of the company film.
From ideas, to written on paper, to communicating & editing.
Here's the full end result!

Trailer, showcasing clothes & relationship with characters

A sneakpeek trailer made with around 1/3th of all the footage.
To showcase the clothes & the relationship that the characters have.
I made this for myself to look at, my portfolio to so show and to make my crewmates & everyone involved excited for the end result!

Trailer, how it cuts to the preproduction

I took the trailer and made screenshots of my preproduction.
In this way i can showcase it very clearly how the shots transform from my mind to full edited!

Impact of different songs showcase

I edited 4 different short video's, all on different sort of song vibes.
For myself to have a better view on what sort of genre suits the video the best!
This helped me choose the right song, even though all of the songs used in the whole process are copyrighted.
I learned that if you don't earn money with the video itself when you post it on social media it won't get removed & you won't get charged.
Bonus points for instagram/other social media if you mention the song name in the description.

Behind the scenes photo's

While searching out a great outfit to filming on the day after.
Me and my crewmates took some quality behind the scenes photo's on my camera.
To give us a nice look-back at the experience!

Behind the scenes photo's and video's taken on my phone

During the shoot & editing process me and my crewmates took out our phones a couple times
to take some behind the scenes photo's & video's

Editing timelines Adobe Premiere Pro 2026

Some inside looks of my editing timelines.
The timeline you see in the top left is the final result.
The timeline you see in the top right is the trailer.
The timeline you see in the bottom left is the trailer cut to preproduction.
The timeline you see in the bottom right is 4 different short versions, about how much impact music can have on the video.

Folderstructure

Let's take an even deeper dive into my computer. A look at how i storage, organise & name all the files!

Quitclaims

For the production, i let the actors fill in a quitclaim. This is so they can't quit mid-shoot and i don't stand there with no continuation possible.
Both actors gave permission to share this information on my website.

Feedback

Feedback i received in my google forms from a Klup de Dag contact person for the shoot and an actor.
Requested Feedback.

Communication

After i made the preproduction i got Rick Klap's (CEO Klup de Dag) phone number from my teacher Anton.
I called him on a reasonable time to tell him about myself, the idea and ask if it was possible.
I understand i shouldn't make the whole preproduction before i have green light, but i wanted to come over professional.

After short contact over whatsapp with Rick, i sent out an email to the Klup de Dag social media staff.
Through here i got in touch with Marit, one of the social media staff workers at Klup de Dag.
I even did a shoot for them before the Company film, haha!

In the pictures you can analyse how i did the communication with the crew, Klup de Dag staff & handled important feedback/ messages.

Behind the scenes video

In this amazing 6 minute long behind the scenes video, you get a great view of the vibes of the shoot.
Also a look into how we shot everything, funny moments, not so great moments and thought processes.
As a project leader i took the responsibility to make sure the actors were acting with their body posture, facial expressions and more in the way i had it in mind.

I tried to do this with as much respect as possible, take a look! šŸ˜€

Company Film made for clothing store Klup de Dag in Leeuwarden.
For my college portfolio we got 10 weeks to think out an idea, connect the company. Prepare the preproduction & shoot and arrange everything.

After a rough start of getting an idea, the vibe of making a film for Klup de dag came into my head. After connecting through e-mail, phone & in real life conversations i got green light and went to work. Communicating alot with them about clothing, actors, dates & times.

On the 20th of May me, Sem (classmate, b-cam) Roan (male actor) & Kiki (female actor) went to the store to search out an outfit for the next day, since we wanted to start early in the morning.

Waking up 05:15 in the morning to get everything ready i was excited to start. At 07:00 the crew arrived at my home and we went through the whole day, where we were ging to shoot and how the actors should act (mood) + some other important information.

It went great, filming from 08:00 till 18:00 in the evening in total, with breaks & a quick nap šŸ™‚

What i think could've been better:
Better planning with the weather, look on the weather apps, plan ahead!
Communicate a little better towards Klup de Dag.
How i took the action and great plans to them, keep that communication consistent. Keep them updated.

I am very proud of what i have put down here, but still lots of room for improvement!

I had a blast, it was great. On to the next one!
